While there are remote jobs being offered in every state in the U.S., we’ve identified the 15 states with the most remote job opportunities. About the Top States with Remote Jobs FlexJobs analyzed tens of thousands of remote job listings posted in 2018 to find out which states had the highest number of remote job openings on FlexJobs. The 15 states identified on the list below had the highest number of remote jobs listed to FlexJobs in 2018. That means that remote jobs with state-specific criteria (meaning, candidates were required to be located in a certain place) were posted most often for these 15 states. California, Texas, and New York were the top three states with the highest number of remote job postings last year, with others such as North Carolina, Minnesota, and Massachusetts also included.
